Showcase Sunday #67

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme held by Books, Biscuits and Tea. It allows fellow bloggers to show off any books or bookish things they've compiled over the week.

How was everyone's holidays? I was off for 5 days over Christmas, which was great but not long enough. Also, like I've mentioned before, it's the hectic time of year at work. Which means I don't get a second to think during the work day. Anyways, nothing really special happening life wise.
So because I didn't post a haul last Sunday, this one is going to be quite big. This is for the most part the books I got for Christmas. I love all my friends and family for feeding my addiction. I'm so super excited to eventually read everything I received or used my gift cards for. One of the most exciting things for me was getting approved for Shadow Study. The original Study Trilogy is one of my absolute faves and with Snyder expanding the trilogy into a 6 book series, it's hard to contain my excitement and joy(I finished it last night and loved it; review up tomorrow ;)).

The Oversight(Oversight Trilogy #1) by Charlie Fletcher: Samantha had an extra ARC, so she so very nicely sent it along with my Christmas present.
Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg and Uninvited(Uninvited #1) by Sophie Jordan: Thanks so much Samantha! I am excited to read both these books. Especially Uninvited because I know how much you loved it. The scarf is fantastic. It's huge and warm. And I love me some plaid. Plus the stitch necklace will be an almost daily wardrobe staple. <3 <3 <3

  1. Yay! I'm still so happy you liked your present! I can't wait for you to read Uninvited! I really hope you enjoy it :D
Some Quiet Place! I absolutely love this one! It's quite strange and hard to get into at first, but it's a brilliant read. I really need to get The Bane Chronicles, but I think I'll be waiting until it's out in paperback. The cover for Suspicion is even more gorgeous in person! The Vault of Dreamers and Zodiac both sound amazing!
THE DEMON TRAPPERS DAUGHTER!! You're going to love Beck <333333
    Happy reading!

  4. Great book haul! I've got a couple of Amazon gift cards but we decided to do a no spend January so I'm holding off on using them until I can rationalize that using a gift card isn't actually spending even if I have to add a few dollars to get the book I want. I've got Echo Lake too! I'm looking forward to it. So far I've really enjoyed the other books in the series. Have a great week!
