Showcase Sunday #71

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme held by Books, Biscuits and Tea. It allows fellow bloggers to show off any books or bookish things they've compiled over the week.

Hola! Did anyone else get snow this week? I sure did. Most snow we've had all year. So damn close to being out of January too. I'm happy yet dreading February. For being the shortest month it always feels like the longest. I don't really remember anything happening this week. It was another blurry work week. Today I'm meeting up with my book club for our first meeting. We read All the Bright Places, which was a fantastic choice. I'm so excited to talk about it with some awesome bloggers and vloggers as we have a yummy brunch.
Really awesome book haul this week. I finally got Fairest in my hands. Which is the star of this weeks haul. But Billy and Me is also totally exciting. I absolutely adored You're the One That I Want so I can't wait to dive into another Fletcher book.

Purchased

Fairest(The Lunar Chronicles #0.5) by Marissa Meyer: Devoured it. Loved it. I NEED Winter like yesterday.
Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher: As soon as I started You're the One That I Want I knew I needed to read everything else Fletcher had published. So I ordered this right away and I will be reading it in the next few weeks.

E-Books Purchased

In a major chic-lit mood and this sounds super adorable. It was really cheap on Kindle also. So couldn't resist buying it.

Edelweiss

Totally forgot to haul this a few weeks ago. I am on the blog tour this week. So I've already read it and(spoiler) loved it.

What did you guys get this week?

Happy reading!

Brittany

  1. I finished Fairest this morning! It was so good - I cannot wait for Winter! I think I am going to listen to the books just so I can get ready for it :)

  2. No snow here thankfully! We get snow so rarely that we're woefully unprepared. I always wish I have waterproof boots when it's snows but since it only happens once every few years I don't want to spend the money on them. One Hundred Proposals looks adorable! I've been reading all cozy mysteries lately and need a good romance/chick lit. Still no time to watch Sherlock! I'm going crazy!
