October Wrap-Up & November TBR

It's really scary to think that any morning now I'll wake up and there will be snow on the ground. In fact there's flurries going on right now. Ugh! October was a hard month. Some great things happened but unfortunately losing my dog just brought everything else down. So I'm ready to just get into November.
I had a better reading month in October than I thought. Yay! Didn't so much stick to my TBR(of course). Samantha and I sucked at our buddy reads. But we both weren't really feeling them. Not that we didn't start any, just none of them were finished. I finally got to read some highly anticipated books like Echos of Scotland Street, Rowdy, All Broke Down, Stone Cold Touch and Blood of Olympus. I'm still sad that there's no more Percy Jackson. I'm going to miss those characters. Made For You was a great surprise. I was also so excited to finally re-read Mara Dyer so I will be ready for the finale on the 4th.

Black Ice by Becca Fiztpatrick 3.5*
Made For You by Melissa Marr 4*
I've Got Your Number bu Sophie Kinsella 4*
Rowdy(Marked Men #5) by Jay Crownover 4.5*
Sublime by Christina Lauren 3.5*
Stone Cold Touch(The Dark Elements #2) by Jennifer L Armentrout 5*
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer(Mara Dyer #1) by Michelle Hodkin 4.5*(re-read)
Between the Spark and the Burn(Between #2) by April Genevieve Tucholke 4*
Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman 3.5*
Lick(Stage Dive #1) by Kylie Scott 3*
Play(Stage Dive #2) by Kylie Scott 4*
Lead(Stage Dive #3) by Kylie Scott 4*
Stepbrother Dearest by Penelope Ward 2.5*
Look at all those 4*'s and higher. Definitely a pretty good reading month. Picking a favourite this month is easy though, Stone Cold Touch. There is no other answer. I love that series and book so so much, Pure gold for me. #TeamRoth

November TBR is pretty much read as many review books as possible. I do have quite a few that need to read ASAP. But I also just need to get ahead with them. So let's hope I stick to this plan. There's only one buddy read with Samantha this month; Fire With Fire. Although we will both be reading The Retribution of Mara Dyer as soon as we can get our hands on it. Blue Lily, Lily Blue is also out today, so I'll picking that up. That's pretty much it for new releases that are musts. I did post a picture on instagram the other day, as well as I made a list of the books I own that are on my immediate TBR. There's 60 of them and I'm hoping to get them read this winter. The plan is to only reach for one of those books. Let's hope I stick to it!

How was your October? Anything exciting for November?

Happy reading!

Brittany
