Top Ten Tuesday: Beach Reads

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme held by The Broke and the Bookish.

This weeks topic is: Top ten beach reads.

The automatic beach read for me is a contemporary romance. Whether YA, NA or adult. I like me some romance on the beach. All of my picks are some of my absolute favourite reads and have the swoony type of romance with nothing too heavy. The one where I wouldn't mind the inevitable sun burn from refusing to move a muscle until I've read the last page. Annnnddd recovered from swooning.

Happy reading!

  1. Any of Emery's books seem a perfect fit for this topic although I've not yet read Open Road Summer. :)

  2. Him made my list as well! So hot... I still need to read Simon, he's been on my TBR list for forever. And I've heard good things about Wicked Heart, will have to wishlist it.

  4. Wanderlove has been sitting on my kindle for a while now. It's got such a gorgeous cover! Actually most of these books have. I'm going straight off to look up HIM, Undecided and Stay With Me. Isn't it great pay day has just been? :)

    Happy Reading

  6. I've heard so much about Simon vs. the Homo-sapiens Agenda and I think I need to finally read it! I'm pretty sure I have an e-book copy from a friend but I might go to the library and see if they have a paperback copy of it. Paperbacks are just so much more enjoyable on the beach!

  8. I like a little suspense to keep me turning pages when it's super hot outside but contemporary is a close 2nd (or even better the 2 combined!). These look so good! Open Road Summer, The Anatomical Shape of a Heart and anything By Samantha Young are on my list. Your recommendation of The Blue pushed the book back into my brain. It's been on my TBR since I first heard about it but it'd kind of gotten buried by new shiny books!

    1. You do love your suspense. I mean I had no idea.... Lol.
Read them all!!!!!!!!!! At least with Hero it's a stand alone, so you know.
Those new books always get in the way. Hopefully you can pick it up soonish. I really liked it. Pretty suspenseful with the awesome backdrop of being on a yacht in the pacific.

  9. Love your list, Brittany! I totally wanted to do last week's TTT but that was the day I learned that I was headed to NC for the funeral so I had to much to do. Blah. Anyway, I'm so with you on the cont. romance picks... that screams beach read (actually I don't like the beach so make mine a pool read). I still need to read Undecided. And it's funny that you included Stay With Me because I was just thinking about Wait For You this morning and telling myself that I need to continue the series SOON. Maybe it'll be a summer goal.
