Showcase Sunday #25

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme held by Books, Biscuits and Tea. It allows fellow bloggers to show off any books or bookish things they've compiled over the week.

Hey! Guess what? This is going to be a really small haul. I didn't buy any physical books this week. :O I know right. One came in the mail that I ordered a few weeks ago and some e-books. But otherwise I controlled myself. LOL!
But I did get to meet one of my favourite authors on Monday. Fangirled hard. And I fell even more in love with her. She's super sweet. And such a great speaker. She told us the story of Rapunzel. Can you guess who yet? Queen of sci-fi fairytale re-tellings, Marissa Meyer!

  2. Oh yay for meeting Marissa Meyer :D

Forbidden has me curious, and a little weirded out after reading the synopsis. I think I'll have to add it to my TBR list and take myself out of my comfort zone, it's got some great reviews!

I've had Forbidden for the longest time, so look forward to seeing how you get on with it. Happy reading! :)

  8. Ah! Marissa Meyer! I met her last year when she toured for Scarlett, and she was so awesome. But, I'm seriously jealous of the swag she had this year! She had the buttons last year, but not the other things. I want them. :D And I've heard such so much about Forbidden! It sounds like quite the interesting read. Happy reading!

  9. I still need to read the Lunar Chronicles... something I really need to hurry up and do. I am happy to see you have Forbidden, it's such a brilliant book. I read it at the start of last year and it became an instant favourite! I hope you enjoy your books :)
