Showcase Sunday #14

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme held by Books, Biscuits and Tea. It allows fellow bloggers to show off any books or bookish things they've compiled over the week.

Actually been a super busy week at work. The temperature is well below 0 now. Plus we had a pretty big snow fall yesterday and last night. So of course that drives people to want to get out of here and go south. I'm not complaining as it means I'm busy booking away and you know, making some extra cash. :) But it also means I've had less time to read(I do a lot of reading at work when it's not so busy...shhhhh....).
I also still have presents to buy. I'm definitely one of those people that start buying early but than get half-way done and decide I still have lots of time. And then, BAM, it's a few days before Christmas and I'm not done. You'd think I'd learn one of these years. :/
There was two Kindle daily deals I grabbed for $1.99. And they were both ones I've wanted to pick up forever but was a little hesitant. So score! Plus I went Amazon bargain hunting and found some sweet deals.

  1. I read Taken for review a while ago and it was a good read. I really need to finish The Chaos Walking trilogy. The first book is one of my all time favorites.

    1. I just finished The Knife of Never Letting Go. So I'm planning on finishing the trilogy pretty soon.
That's good to hear about Taken. There's been so many mixed reviews. But for $1.99 if I don't end up liking it then oh well.
      Thanks for stopping by Laura!
