(Updated)Bout of Books 11.0 Sign-Up, Goals & Progress


The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Alright, here's where I state me intentions in participating in Bout of Books 11.0. I definitely suck at readathons. But I want to give it a go. I know I'll be working all week, but I normally read at least five books in a week. So why not try and read seven? I could use a kick in the ass to read a few more books in a week. Okay, so I'm going to do this.

Now for my goals, I'm going to try and read seven books this week. Participate as much as possible in the fun going on through the Bout of Books page and Twitter. As well as cheering any of my friends on that are participating as well.
For my TBR I'm pretty much going to stick with contemporaries and New Adult because I know I can read through those guys the fastest. So here's my plan;



Monday
Books read: Beautiful Player and Beautiful Beginning
Pages read: 591
Total pages: 591

Tuesday
Books read: Sacrifice by Brigid Kemmerer(I know this wasn't on my TBR. But I got approved on Netgalley and there was no way I wasn't reading it right away)
Pages read: 432
Total: 1023

Wednesday
Books read: All Lined Up and finished The Madman's Daughter
Pages read: 405
Total: 1428

Thursday
Books read: Started The Summer I Turned Pretty
Pages read: 53
Total: 1481
It was a pretty busy day at work. So I watched a few shows when I got home and crashed. I was way to tired to read.

Friday
Books read: Finished The Summer I Turned Pretty
Pages read: 223
Total: 1704

Saturday
Books read: Sweet Filthy Boy
Pages read: 352
Total: 2056

Sunday
Books read: Started The Probability of Violet and Luke
Pages read: 94

    HAHA it's fine you can't be worse at readathons than me, sometimes the whole readathon duration flies by and I haven't read a single book!! xD So glad to see The Summer I Turned Pretty on your TBR, it's one of my favourite contemporaries and I really hope you'll enjoy :) All the best!

    The Summer I Turned Pretty is SO good! I love that series and definitely recommend reading the entire series because Belly has SO much character growth throughout the trilogy! :) I'm also doing bout of books over at my blog and I am so excited! Best of luck :)

    The Summer I Turned Pretty is also awesome and Ten Tiny Breaths packs a punch. Funnily enough I've also got Cursed on my TBR list :D
