I actually really adore the Starcrossed trilogy and I loooooooved Let the Sky Fall and it's sequel. I've only read the first Uglies book and I've had the next two sitting on my bookcase for about a year and a half.<br />I don't know if I can be bothered with ASoIaF or Jane Austen either. I have attempted to read Game of Thrones, Pride and Prejudice and Emma, but never got very far.Samantha Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07751599254054669479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1234486517960079523.post-54958214520989012462014-08-12T17:30:21.075-04:002014-08-12T17:30:21.075-04:00Great picks! I adore the TV show, but I agree that it's a very long book series to commit to. I am also put off by the fact George R.R. Martin takes so long to write a new book and keeps you waiting, I am not a patient person. I have read quite a few of the Gone series but never finished it, I don't know if I ever will. I have also read the first two Starcrossed books, I own all 3 and do intend to finish them. I didn't know that was allowed! To be honest though I'm not sold on her either. I like Pride and Prejudice but tried Northanger Abbey and it was painful. And to be really honest I liked the movie better than the book with P&P. Game of Thrones isn't happening for me either. My husband watches the show but I leave the room!Katherine Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12126062556416434416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1234486517960079523.post-63438156660166653012014-08-12T12:12:51.172-04:002014-08-12T12:12:51.172-04:00Out of these I only read ASoIaF and it took me lik...Out of these I only read ASoIaF and it took me like a year (with 2 exam months and waiting for one book to get out) and it was soooo worth it. Watching the show is so not enough. I suggest you get on that because it's so good. It's politics, schemes, wars, love, killer kids and all kinds of other awesomeness like DRAGONS. :D Get to it :PUlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347043469153303773noreply@blogger.com
